DOES IT HELP ME RUN?
Many times we ask the wrong question when it comes to the way we are and what we do. The right question would be "Does it help me run?", instead of asking "Is it a sin?". Now when we ask does it help me run, we refer to the terms in life of in what keeps us from becoming a better person, more loving, more humble, more pure, and many more things. We have the habit of holding on to the things that keep us in sin and hold us from running. It can be things such as alcohol, drugs, our jobs, pornography, food, the internet, its basically all our addictions. If we want to run we have to learn to let go of all the bad things that keep us from running to our freedom, to God. Think about that, can you let go? Can you leave a side your addiction? These are the things we must think about. Be the first to make a change and run free.

Meet our Class
Meet the 11th and 12th grade advanced English class that will be publishing their work on this blog!
We have Daniel, Brian, Michelle, Andres, Stephanie, (me, Mrs. Ashley Powell), Abi, Alicia, Juan Carlos, and Jonathan. This is a great group of students you will enjoy getting to know through their writing.
Hi! I'm Alicia (my friends call me Ali), and I'm from a cool and maybe unknown country called Bolivia. My class and I get along really well. We are doing this blog to let you know what we do here in Bolivia and so, you'll get to know each one of us a little bit too. So I will introduce them to you:
Juan Carlos (we call him Juanky): He's a nice guy. He likes to have around real friends, and people with who he can talk about things like rappers, world news, video games, and planes. He told me he would like to learn to play guitar and sing. I've known him for five years.
Brian: He's a genius at drawing! He's funny and always has something good to say. His writing is awesome, and he's really good at doing things he likes. He has a girlfriend called Jacky, they look really good together. Oh! I almost forgot that he skateboards and plays drums.
Jonathan: He's Brian's brother, he loves music and he makes really good grades. His girlfriend's name is Becky, and they are just weird but nice. He's really serious but also tells good jokes. He plays guitar, tastes every kind of food, makes music (like a DJ), and he has great English from years of living in the U.S.
Andres: He looks like a teddy bear (according to whats Miss Ashley said), he always has a response for everything and he likes to invent some stories. He's helpful and he plays basketball.
Daniel: I don't know him because he just got into our school, but he seems like a good person, he's from Santa Cruz so he has a different accent. He's shy and kind of serious. He plays drums and likes to eat.
Abigail (they call her Abi): She does every homework and even more. She makes the best grades in all the school. She's got four sisters and two brothers. Her dad is the school's owner. She's a nice girl.
Michelle: She's smart, and really cool. She knows how to put on makeup. She's thoughtful and helpful and she has a nice smile. She likes to whisper to Abi.
Stephanie (we call her Stephy): She's really shy, but once you win her confidence she is very cool. She plays volleyball and has one sister and one brother. She's really cute and has beautiful long brown hair. She loves to eat and she's got braces now.
Miss Ashley: She's really nice and we love the way she speaks english. She's sweet and makes us play fun games and learn english in a fun way. She got here one year ago and she's trying to learn Spanish.
And finally me, I'm very outgoing and I love to read and eat, but I stay thin. I love making music and singing. I'm a worship leader and I love serving God with the things he gave me. I have a little brother, he's my little miracle.
